Roar 4 Change creates 972-666-8077 HELP LINE for free advice cross Dallas Fort Worth to support the community

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, about 6.7 percent of Americans experience depression every year. That’s over 20 million people who regularly feel empty, hopeless, or tired. The Mental Health issues is becoming prevalent in the South Asian community in USA and Canada. We are seeing and hearing more and more suicide and mental health related incidents in our community.

Laughing At Life, a division of Roar 4 Change, a charity organization from Dallas has come forward to assist the community in Dallas. Baljit Singh, Program Director said,” We are forming a GUIDE Team. The GUIDE Team is composed of individuals from different professions and language speaking background from South Asian community in Dallas. The individuals are subject matter experts in Financial Advice, Legal Guidance, Medical, or Family matters. The GUIDE team is committed and will give regular time for community service. The most important is that these individuals will keep the information confidential.”

We have created a FREE number for the community 972-666-8077. Anybody can call us at this number for any kind of support. The current GUIDES 4 COMMUNITY are composed of below professionals. The team is being expanded further to add further. Roar 4 Change team will mobilize help for the individuals based on their need. All the help be confidential for the individual.

Mr. Dilawar Sayani – He has a B.sc. chemistry/biochemistry, University of Nairobi and M.Sc in Management and MBA from University of Dallas. He has held management positions with Pro Line Corp in Dallas then started his own business.

Mr. Mahendar Rao – An IT Professional with Finance back ground, currently working as Project Manager @Citi Group Los Colinas, Irving TX. For the past 14+ years, I have been very active in the following community organizations, helping to promote culture, charity and commerce in and around DFW metroplex and Telangana. – India

Mr. Rajiv Kamat– Rajiv Kamat is a Finance Graduate from University of Mumbai with more than 30 years of experience in Finance, Accounts & Management. Along with professional activities, Rajiv is very active with his participation in non-profit initiatives with various NGO’s to contribute back to the society.

Dr. Vijay Sharma  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (Adult Medicine), since 1995. He has been practicing Internal /Primary Care Medicine for more than three decades.

Mr. Baljit Singh – Baljit has been part of numerous teams that have brought innovation and game-changing products and services to the market. Be it the accelerometer chip controlling car airbags, the world’s first automated fuzzy logic defect classification system for the semiconductor industry, or to be part of a team that brought the world’s fully automated Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to the market. He is now leading various Not-for-Profit initiatives across North America and India.

Mr. Marvin Dass- Marvin is currently with Fun Asia and have been working closely with various Not-for-Profit organizations across Dallas Fort Worth area.
