Mr. Baljit Singh also gave an overview of Roar 4 Change activities and also facts about how Depression is silently becoming a major challenge for humanity. Mr. Singh also shared how the idea of Fighting Depression Help came about when Mr. Amarjit Dhillon, was conveying the sad news via his radio show Vasda Rahe Punjab about Mr. Ajit Singh Birring, a local DFW resident who killed his own young children, a 4-year old boy and 3 year old girl and then set fire to the car with their bodies before fatally shooting him self. The news made him think and then Mr. Baljit Singh started reaching out to the community to bring shape to the program. Below is the presentation that was shared by Mr. Baljit Singh.
The program was a great success with great speakers and participants. The photograph and the entire video of the program will be posted soon. We all have started an amazing journey and Roar 4 Change team members are confident that together with the community leaders, we will make the impact for others.
